Giving you a taste of the filthier side of Dubstep--the mix is called Havoc. DaBears is notoriously known for starting with out with DeadMau5, but it's not bad, I like it. Plus I always enjoy the album artwork.

Summer of DrumnBass

DC is suppose to get up to 94 today with mad humidity. Hot, hot, make yah wanna sweat--need that summer mix to keep yah going! This is a little off from what I normally post which is that grime dubstep, however this is the Underground, there are many forms of bass and womps--today's mix is DrumnBass themed! However don't under estimate the power of wompppp--mixed by Dustin Roberdo, a local of the Baltimore rave scene, currently presiding in ATL. For those of you who are fans of Otaku, be sure to catch Otakon happening July 30-August 1, 2010. Dustin will be preforming at the after party so be sure to check him out little ravers.

This mix-Summer of Drum and Bass has to be one of my favorite drum and bass mixes that i've heard in a while--starting off strong with Mage's Summer Love to set the theme of the season, and continuing on with some other very note-worthy DnB artists including Netsky, Camo & Krooked, a Subfocus remix of Rusko, Sigma and Logistics. Let's face it, this mix is a face melter and perfect for a hot summa day.

Today is a good day. Twas gettin in the mood mixin up some new tunes this mo'nin, so I figured I'd send some good news yall way. So last week I discovered a blog that gave me a nice package of goodies to work out this week. If you've never been over to Gotta Dance Dirty do yourself a favor and get on over there.

So, Rusko's new EP Woo Boost is out as of last week and it's all the nastiness I hoped it would be!! I'm planning on picking up a copy on the Beatportal cuz the shit's ill and the man deserves the support for the genius tunes he creates. Anywho... Gotta Dance Dirty was nice enough to hook us zombies up with the Subskrpt remix and OH MY!! This is wobbly Electro House at its best, people. Go pick up the track at Gotta Dance Dirty or the whole EP at any respectable mp3 provider.



Another beauty was found in the G.D.D. archives that Rusko has recently dropped FO FREE!! So very happy to finally get ahold of this one. It was definitely the standout tune in the Mishka Vol. XII Rusko mix that I hope everyone is familiar with by now. "Your On My Mind Baby" is a track I will be playing out for months to come. One of those 3:30 a.m. jams that you can't help but sway like a drunken NASCAR fan to. And those breaks!!! Just puts me in the zone. Rusko is killing the dance inspired dubstep at the moment. Cannot wait for Starscape...

P.S. Been in a dark dnb mood lately and I've bought a few new 12"s and some mp3's that I shall share a bit of soon. And in case you didn't know the new Spor-Conquerors and Commoners EP just went on pre-order this morning over at Lifted Music. These 4 tracks are solid work from Spor that are well worth the purchase. Below is arguably the best work on the EP, "Kaori". Get ready for a journey, my friends.

Your daily dose

Hello all! It's been a while since i've contributed anything, unfortunately, I have been buried in work and when i'm not working i'm sleeping off this sickness I've got! However, I finally have relief, my mom got my doctor back home to get me meds that way I can stop sneezzing and feeling like mucus is now my annoying head neighbor. Like those mucinex comercials haha-I want that mucus out!

Back to dub matters, I found out earlier this week that Thumpty Nation, otherwise known as Theta Delta Chai, will once again play host to another Dance, Psychedelic Rock, Funk, artist. The group known as Wobblesauce will be playing this Friday at Thumpty and on throughout the weekend in a 2-day preformance for Presidents day. It starts at 11 on Friday, check it out if you get the chance, 800 University Ave.

I thought I might kick things back a notch with today's daily dose. While going through the ill photos of fall massive, I came across a video from the event with different scenes put together to the tune of Rusko, aka one of my favorite dubstep artists. I got to see Rusko live last year at DubNation with Olaf, and let me tell you, it was ill. There's something about his beats that flow together in a nice wobble-bass sound. Rusko's raw beats also bring out the raver out in me, you could lightshow and dance to this all day longgg.
