Justin-whose responsible for the BAD-ASS photo chilling on the top of the blog page has always been finding sick music that I can use to blog for you guys and tonight's no exception. Think a mix between electro/dub/house. And who could say no with two sexy ass ladies on the cover!
Starting off slow, it kinda reminds me of a little Tiesto then mixed with Jean Elan's Lights Out-but it's got it's own twist. It drops around the 1:32 mark and if you close your eyes, maybe the kites WILL make you fly.

Today's post is a unique good one! My chickie Rena, who is also my raver partner in crime has graciously passed on this AWESOME new techno mix that her sister's brother-in-law, created.
This mix has a very island/vaca(esq.) type vibes-good vibes all around! Starting out mellow, the beat really begins to pick up round the 15:00. What I enjoy about this techno-trancy mix is the vibes it gives off, very different from what you normally here, yet unique. Keeping that suddle drum beat in the background-whole mix is about 50 min long.

DC is suppose to get up to 94 today with mad humidity. Hot, hot, make yah wanna sweat--need that summer mix to keep yah going! This is a little off from what I normally post which is that grime dubstep, however this is the Underground, there are many forms of bass and womps--today's mix is DrumnBass themed! However don't under estimate the power of wompppp--mixed by Dustin Roberdo, a local of the Baltimore rave scene, currently presiding in ATL. For those of you who are fans of Otaku, be sure to catch Otakon happening July 30-August 1, 2010. Dustin will be preforming at the after party so be sure to check him out little ravers.
This mix-Summer of Drum and Bass has to be one of my favorite drum and bass mixes that i've heard in a while--starting off strong with Mage's Summer Love to set the theme of the season, and continuing on with some other very note-worthy DnB artists including Netsky, Camo & Krooked, a Subfocus remix of Rusko, Sigma and Logistics. Let's face it, this mix is a face melter and perfect for a hot summa day.
